This is our community.
Let’s work together to create an Arizona where everyone can thrive.

My name is Judy Schwiebert and I’m running to represent our community in the Arizona State House.
I grew up here in Arizona. My parents moved to Phoenix to pursue their dreams before I even entered 1st grade, and over and again taught my sister, brother, and me the power of hard work, persistence, and paying it forward.
My dad started out as a shop teacher at Carl Hayden High School and was that guy who could fix anything. He taught me to roll up my sleeves and get to work. I was also lucky to have a mom who showed me the power of persistence - like when she went back to college to finish her degree with three kids under the age of 8 at home. They both taught me that you do whatever it takes to get the job done. Like my dad would say, ‘Success doesn’t just take 100%, sometimes it takes 200% or more.”
As a result, I’ve been working hard all my life serving families in the Northwest Valley. As a mom and teacher in the Glendale Union and Peoria School Districts, I helped launch thousands of young people as they reached for their American dream. As a co-founder of Theater Works, I learned the power of working together as a community to make our dreams come true. As a board member and volunteer, I know the importance of listening to people to find common-sense solutions that work for everyone.
Now, I’m running to represent all of us in the State House because I’m done with this legislature that has neglected our children and families for too long. I’m listening to you, and am ready to work hard and smart to create common sense solutions that move Arizona forward and make it a place where everyone can thrive.
