As we honor Dr. King this weekend, I’m thinking not only of his life, but also millions of others who continue to work peacefully and persistently within our democracy for greater freedom and justice for all people. Each of us plays our part, for as Dr. King said, “We are caught in an escapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”
